For over 39 years, we have made writing climbing guidebooks our passion. Our goal is to create user friendly and interesting guidebooks to beginner and fun climbs as well as to the cutting edge hard climbs. In Switzerland “Plaisir” climbing has long meant stress free, fun well protected climbs. Father of Plaisir Climbing Jürg von Känel started Filidor Publishing House in 1986.

Oeschinen – KIK

Access from below to the “KIK” route is currently not possible. The fixed ropes are no longer intact and the lake level is approx. 3 meters higher than usual. This means that if you want to start the route from the bottom, you have to abseil from the «Fründenschnur». However, this means that an emergency exit is no longer possible.
