Lidernen ***

The Lidernen Hut is extremely popular thanks to its easy access from the top of the lift — and it’s easy to see why. In just ten minutes you can be on the hut terrace, coffee in hand, soaking up the incredible views. From here, there are excellent hiking options as well as access to a newly rebolted crag. The nearby Schmalstöckli, Chli Chaiser, and Chaiserstock offer a variety of multipitch routes. Climbs on Chaiserstock in particular have a distinctly alpine feel. The rock isn’t always solid and requires careful attention, but it’s the setting and atmosphere that truly make this area special. In winter, consider combining a ski tour with rock climbing — a perfect recipe for a memorable day in the mountains.
