The routes on the Jegihorn are very well known and held in high regard. The climbs afford beautiful views into an awesome mountain world. During the past few years new routes have been put up along the Jegi Ridge as well as on the southern foothills of the Jegihorn. A nice climbing crag is also at the foot of the Lagginhorn. It is worth a trip and the friendly hut warden team welcomes you to the Wiessmies Hut.

Renovation work on the Weissmieshütte will begin in spring 2026 with an extension, but the hut will remain open until mid-August. It will then be closed until the 2026/27 winter season. You can find the latest information on the Weissmieshütte website.
