Yan Blanchard with his infinite appetite for new routes, has created quite an amazing climbing paradise here. Typical for a Blanchard find, the routes are blessed with a coarse, grippy rock of the highest quality. In other words, dirty mossy north facing crags are not his thing. The climbs for the most part are technical, challenging, and brutal on your fingers. Beautiful Plaisir multipitch climbs on grippy pocketed rock.

In Grandval at Pic de Corcelles (extreme Jura page 122) there was recently a violent rockfall from above in the left part (route "Une belle épine"). The biggest stones were about the size of a head. Fortunately, the rope team that wanted to climb this route was not injured. Therefore, caution is advised when climbing in the left sector.
