Joli ***

Joli Wall’s climbing offers side pulls, underclings, as well as very positive edging. Expect variety, hard pulling, and good fun! But if you expect Verdon quality climbing here, save yourself trip. Some holds need to be handled gently. Not a bad idea for your belayer to wear a helmet as well. Thanks to the sunny exposure, Joli Wall is nice in the winter (from 9am to 1:30pm). A little bit lower down in the narrow Joli Gorge, you can find the “Luogeri” sector. The wall is impressively steep and the rock can be a tad chossy. The climbing is bouldery. The sun shines here after 1:30pm (middle of winter less sun!). Both these sectors can easily be combined into one session - pumped out arms guaranteed!
