Sport climbing in the Gasterntal was until very recently, basically unheard of. Indeed, rock in this quaint little valley is everywhere, but quality is often bad. In search of new routing, Sacha Wettstein (2020) patiently spent quite a bit of time looking and sniffing out some potential. Joined by friends he put up 5 nice routes. The rock is surprisingly good and for those who seek a quiet corner that affords incredible views, you have found the right spot! The approach does require a good orienteering sense. Beware that during storms the little stream crossings become dangerous.
