Airy climbs on grippy gneiss on the steep pillar of Pissechevre. Both routes are perfectly protected. The pillar is exposed to wind, which blows frequently. If other parties are on the route, walking off is strongly recommended. Sure-footedness and good approach shoes are important for a safe descent.

The road to Morcles will be diverted until further notice following rockfalls. The routes on the Pilier de la Pissechèvre were not damaged by the rockfalls. Nevertheless, climbing on the Pissechèvre is strongly discouraged. Further information is available from the municipality of Lavey.
