Poncione d'Alnasca *****

For years, the impressive pyramid shaped South Face of the Poncione d’Alnasca was the exclusive domain of hardcore aid climbers! The routes included here have been free climbed and more or less equipped with fixed protection. Despite the additional bolts, these are not routes to be underestimated. The length, exposure, and difficulty all make this wall a serious undertaking. It is recommended to hike up the day before and spend a night in the bivouac hut. There is room for 4 people with mattresses and cooking equipment. Bring your own camping Gaz CV 470 cartridge. You can find water in a spring about 10 minutes right of the approach trail. Please keep this little oasis clean. Leave some kindling and firewood for the next people and if you pack it in, pack it out.
