Schöllenen ****

Traffic noise can be a bit annoying, but the upside is the quick approach. In return, you’re rewarded with classic Uri-quality granite and a wide variety of climbs. From slabs to cracks, Schöllenen is an ideal summer destination. In autumn, the sun reaches the narrow canyon walls far less often, while in spring the area enjoys sunshine until about mid-afternoon.
