The Gendarme di Gramused sits like a guardian at the entrance to Bavona Valley. Two of the hardest Ticino test pieces climb up this wall. “Il Mito Della Caverna”, put up by Nicola Balestra and friends in 2000, climbs only half of the wall. 11 years later, Matteo Della Bordella and Luca Auguadri, extended the route to the top and were the first to free all the pitches.
