Isenfluh ***

Your best bet when it is raining! It is hard to find a more weather resistant area than the “Grand Grotta” of Isenfluh! The horizontally layered rock can be a bit chossy and dirty, but on the plus side, it does stay pretty dry when everything else is wet. The protection on some of the routes can seem a little “sporty”. The slightly overhanging face climbs found in the left sector are shady in the afternoon.

Adam Ondra frees the extension of "Isen't fluent" and rates it 9a+! The line was bolted by Stephan Siegrist. Ondra already tried the route together with Jakob Schubert in spring 2023. After breaking a crimp, they were no longer able to climb the sequence without a knee pad. Now he managed to get through thanks to a marginal kneebar!
