Ofen – Nünplatten *****

At Ofen, you’ll encounter both climbing and rock of the very highest quality. The sharp pockets can be punishing, wearing down both your skin and your shoe rubber. Please observe the road closures past Turrenbach. By E-Bike, even at a casual pace, Unter Boden can easily be reached in 20 minutes. The crags are within federally regulated hunting boundaries, therefore, between November 15 - May 15 (the wildlife protection dates) the area is closed to climbing. Further climbing restrictions are in effect until June 15. Please respect these rules and regulations and preserve our privilege to climb here for a long time to come.

On the route “Planet der Affen”, a bolt has broken off at the third belay station. Many other (galvanized) bolts are heavily rusted and in poor condition. Anyone interested in rebolting should contact Filidor or Rebolting...
