The difficult friction climbing may not be everyone’s cup of tea. But the run outs can forge a good lead head. For those who dare, you will find high quality Goschener granite. A bit more casual are the routes on the Ying Yang Slabs. Besides slithering up the slabs, wonderful picnicing, playing, and BBQing near the stream bed is a post climb highlight. High end climbers find fitting challenges with the granite classics “Black Jack - Jack Daniels”. Five pitches of steep face climbing up to 7c+ in perfect rock.

Ruedi has also cleaned the routes “Bijou” and “Moskito” and partially rebolted them (Bijou without the right traverse in the last pitch).

The classic routes “Reiss...” and “YingYang” have been rebolted and four new routes have been added. Three new tours have been created between the Kleiner Sandplatte and Sandbalmplatte: They are “Klopf Klopf” (6b), “Auf die Fresse” (6c+, 3pa/A1) and the “Tatortreiniger” (5c+) were added. The rebolting took place in the context of an advanced training course for youth leaders of the JDAV Baden-Württemberg under the direction of Fynn Renner from Constance. Unfortunately, the new routes were hardly cleaned. This limits the fun of climbing...
