Voralpsee *****

This wall looks as if it was cut by a giant knife and then sufficiently featured to make climbing possible. Good finger strength and technique are mandatory! Once again, it was Andreas Audetat who discovered this wall. Together with other local route developers, the first climbs up the wall soon made this “the place to be” for top climbers from all over the world. The wall with its uniformity and consistency demands not only perfect technique, but also a good memory to recall the complex series of moves. All routes are well protected with bolts. Nevertheless, cheating is difficult and you are forced to make the moves. Voralpsee is one of the most prominent and stellar sport climbing areas in Switzerland.

To the left of the route "Don't speak" there is now an additional warm-up route in the 6th French degree. The tour is called "Der Rand der Sahneschnitte" (6b) and was bolted by Jürgen Bormann.
