Compared with the climbs around the “Brevent”, these are a bit more serious. Inspiringly steep climbs like the “Grand Floria”, which serves as a winter training area for some, gets you right into the game! Very nice, yet not as wild, try “L’Index” and also the lower wall of the “Auiguilles de la Gliere”. Mostly slabby friction climbing, expect a smattering of cracks and dihedrals as well. Take a moment to look around and absorb the mountain lore of climbing history with great views to Mont Blanc, Walker Spur, Dent du Geant, the Bonatti Pillar….
