Thanks to the private road (toll required), Mettener Butzli is easily accessible. If you are short on time, this is perfect for a quick climbing fix. The climbs offer primarily pockets and crimps. The approach lacks a defined trail.

Patrik Müller has rebolted the classic East-Wall. That is, many pitons and hourglass slings replaced by bolts. Partially at the stands new bolts added. The good old "Klausenringbohrhaken" were left. Overall, it has in the 6 pitches only 8 additional new belay points, Friends (o,5 / 2 and 3 ) may therefore quietly continue to be taken. In addition 10-12 quickdraws. Have fun climbing this classic Klausen climbing on grandiose, steep, rough but also always cautious rock!

Routes No. 7 to 17 (extrem OST) protection only three bolts and beauty max. 3 stars (partly quite fragile). Route No. 4 urgently needs a 50 m double rope for the last abseil above the roof. According to the guidebook, a 70 m rope is enough and this brings the abseiler ev. in serious trouble (15 m too short!).
