Freezing fingers in the Bergell?…you can hang in Chiavenna and climb the different walls and sample the tasty espresso! The rock on Sasso Blanco is no longer white like its name implies, but still warrants a stopover. Climb slabs on the Placche di Bette. Near the famous Acquafraggia waterfalls, you find unusual water eroded rock. The campground in “Acquafraggia” make an ideal basecamp.
